Ending Your Tenancy Agreement
A notice to terminate your tenancy agreement must be submitted with the tenant's signature or, for the fastest processing, through our online termination form. The notice period for a tenancy agreement is one full calendar month. The notice period begins from the last day of the calendar month during which we receive your termination notice. For example, if you submit your termination notice on 16 April, your tenancy agreement will end on 31 May.
If your tenancy agreement is registered in the names of two tenants, both tenants must complete the online termination form. If you submit a paper termination notice, both tenants must sign the form and provide information on whether both tenants or only one tenant will be moving out.
You can terminate your tenancy electronically using Finnish online banking credentials or by returning the signed printable termination form by email to asuntovuokraus@colliers.com.
Confirmation of Termination
Once we have received and processed your termination notice, we will always send you written confirmation together with move-out instructions by email or post.
Security Deposit Refund
We will refund your security deposit within two weeks after the end of your tenancy agreement, provided there are no reasons to withhold any part of the deposit. Once you have returned all keys and cleaned the apartment properly, we will process the security deposit refund. Please remember to provide your bank account details for the security deposit refund.
